This work explores the quiet tension between protection and visibility. Its exterior presents a bold, monolithic form, while concealed within are a series of intimate architectural spaces that reveal themselves only through sustained looking. Corridors, thresholds, and stairways emerge from the sculpture's interior, suggesting private routes of passage and moments of retreat hidden beneath an imposing facade.

Rendered in a deep red, the work evokes both vulnerability and resilience. The colour transforms the structure into a psychological space, where shelter is understood not merely as a physical condition but as an emotional necessity. The hidden interior invites viewers to slow down and peer into its recesses, rewarding attention with glimpses of spaces that feel inhabited yet inaccessible.
