The work presents a paradox, positioning itself in a state of both safety and vulnerability. The space in which it resides resists full disclosure, yet the work draws from its architectural surroundings, subtly encoding the identity of its host.

For those who encounter the work directly, an inscription emerges: “You're safe here”. A phrase that should feel reassuring instead wavers between comfort and unease. It offers reassurance while leaving open the possibility of doubt, implicating both the viewer and the work in a fragile contract of trust. Does the promise hold indefinitely, or does it falter?

In this tension, the work interrogates the very notion of "safe space" It compels us to ask; what conditions guarantee safety, and to what extent can safety be sustained without intrusion? Can any protected space remain impervious to external forces, or is its permeability part of its essence? By staging these questions within a site whose own identity is concealed yet traceable, the work invites viewers to re-examine their assumptions about security, exposure, and the precarious balance between concealment and revelation.
